About Dr. Green
Erin Green is the owner of Grants Ferry Family Dentistry and founder/owner of Green Wellness Spa. Alongside her passion for all things tooth-related, Erin loves to design and create, whether by building her ”dream” office or supporting local artists and artisans.
Born and raised in Monroe, Louisiana, Erin first called Mississippi “home” as a student at MC. Following graduation, she spent the next four years in New Orleans at LSU Dental School pursuing the career she always dreamed of as a child. Ready to enter the workforce (and be done with school), she and her husband John happily returned to MS to begin practicing and raising a family.
In the field of dentistry, Erin is constantly pushing the envelope, often introducing new technology, treatments, and methods to provide a more efficient and satisfying dental experience. She believes everyone deserves a chance to love their smile and aims to motivate and encourage people in an industry that can often promote fear and shame.
More than her entrepreneurial spirit or love of cutting-edge technology, Erin loves the wild and crazy laughter of her four children. There is never a dull moment at the Green household, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
About Dr. Wilhite
Emily Wilhite is the Type A, OCD, perfectionist that you always wanted in a dentist. But don’t let this fool you! She is also kind hearted, compassionate, and genuinely cares about the well-being of all of her patients. When she joined the team at GFFD, she brought the perfect balance to Dr. Green’s spontaneity and forgetfulness.
A native of West Monroe, Louisiana, Emily graduated from Louisiana Tech before completing dental school at LSU School of Dentistry. She learned in dental school how to multi-task, balancing a rigorous curriculum with the joys (and stress) of early motherhood. She and her family moved back to West Monroe to begin her dental career and continue to grow their family.
The Wilhite family took a leap of faith in the summer of 2020 and moved to MS to join the GFFD team, a dream she and Dr. Green always hoped for. Emily brings a sense of purpose and calm to whatever she pursues and has a unique ability to provide uncompromising care and a gentle nature to her patients.
When she is not bettering the profession of dentistry, Emily currently spends her time on the road, chauffeuring kids between activities, lessons, and games. “Mom” is her number one priority, and her family is what motivates her to strive for excellence daily.
